lab hikes

Lab members like to get out for a hike and picnic in the beautiful Bay area. One favorite destination is Mt. Diablo. We have also been to the slopes of Mt. Tamalpais.

lab lunch

On fridays members of the lab eat lunch together. Sometimes there are informal talks, other times people will try out research or teaching ideas with the group. At other times lunch is just an opportunity to gossip.
