Prof. Terry Regier joins Berkeley Linguistics

Prof. Terry Regier has accepted a joint appointment in Linguistics and Cognitive Science at Berkeley, effective July 2009. Regier comes from the University of Chicago, where he was Associate Professor in the department of Psychology. Regier specializes in the relation between language and thought, focusing in recent years on spatial language, color naming, and word learning. Welcome, Terry Regier!
