Instructions for Authors
Papers will be published in two volumes: one volume for the General Session and Parasession and one volume for the Special Session. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 16 May 2008; electronic copies should be sent to bls_submissions@berkeley.edu and hardcopies to:

General Formatting Requirements
- Papers must not exceed 12 pages (18 pages for invited speakers). This includes all examples, diagrams, and references.
- A 12 point Times New Roman font must be used in the body of the text (10 point in footnotes).
- Margins: 1.5 inch on top, left, and right. 1 inch on bottom.

Read this document carefully and follow the guidelines exactly. Submissions that do not follow the formatting requirements will be returned to the author for revisions only if there is a reasonable amount of time before the submission deadline, otherwise they will not be included in the volume.
Copyright Release
All authors must sign and return a Copyright Release Form to us at:

before their papers can be published. This form ensures that the material in the paper has not been or will not be published anywhere else in any similar form.
